Storing Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Pie

Storing: Store this pie, covered and in the fridge for up to 5 days. When serving, don't let the pie sit out longer than 2 hours at room temperature. Cream cheese can spoil after 2 hours.

Can you freeze no bake peanut butter pie?

You can freeze peanut butter pie. Before placing it in the freezer, allow the pie to set in the fridge overnight before wrapping it in plastic wrap and freezing.

Freeze for up to 3 months.

Thaw for about 20 minutes at room temperature, or enjoy frozen depending on the texture you prefer.

Easy Peanut Butter Pie Variations

Powdered sugar: Not recommended to swap out powdered sugar. I would recommend opting for a trusted brand that tastes of pure powdered sugar.

Cream Cheese: I do not recommend swapping out the cream cheese.

Creamy peanut butter: Choose creamy peanut butter that does not require stirring. You'll know if it does if the peanut oil has separated from the solids.

Cool whip: Be sure to thaw the cool whip completely. Swap out for chocolate cool whip!

Graham cracker crust: While the graham cracker crust offers that buttery honey flavor, switch it up with chocolate or an oreo premade crust.

Cocoa powder: Cocoa powder in this recipe is optional. You can also dust the top of your peanut butter pie with ground cinnamon.

Vanilla Extract: Helps to add flavor, we don't recommend substituting.

Tips for this Easy Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

  • Crust: When buying a store-bought pie crust, double-check it for cracks.
  • Natural Peanut Butter: Natural peanut butter tends to separate. Use a peanut butter such as Jif or Skippy.
  • Chill: I know you want to eat this up, but chilling for at least 2 hours will help set this pie and blend the flavors.
